Single Pole Hall Effect Magnetic Field Sensor.
Has three pins. The first pin is the power anode, second power cathode, third signal. When a magnet of the desired polarity is brought to it, the signal output is connected to the common wire through the n-p-n junction.. Sensors such as the A3144 are used instead of obsolete reed switches, in encoders, when measuring amperage and in rotation indicators. They can be used as in relay logic, by simply connecting the coil of the electromagnetic relay to the output, and together with microcontrollers.
