The photo relay module activates the relay at a certain light intensity. The photoresistor determines the light level, which is connected using a cable length 20 cm. When light hits a photoresistor, it changes its resistance. Because of this, the voltage in the circuit changes, which signals the amount of light. The module can be used in projects, в которых необходимо срабатывание реле при наличии заданной яркости света (освещение улицы, включение фар автомобиля и т.д.).
The board has an LM393 comparator, which determines the intensity of light on the photoresistor. The sensitivity level of the sensor can be adjusted using a trim resistor. The module does not have on/off timers. The relay is triggered when the specified sensor sensitivity threshold is exceeded. If the illumination changes its state frequently, then the relay will operate often.
The photoresistor is connected to the module using the CDS pin. The module board has 2 клеммника:
